85 degrees today...Pio

Today was 85 and Pio was out for the whole day. He never went in his hide like the last time, just explored and nibbled on some cuttle bone and a few flowers. He sat in his stream for a good 15 min. He looked so happy....I know...no emotions, but he really did.

There's just something about those miniature-tree-stump back legs on a tortoise that give them such a sturdy, gravity-centered look.

Pio wears it well and is such a lucky tort to live in the enclosure built by Terry and Son.
