Hello I'm new on here and was wondering if anyone could help me out with a question? I have a 6 month old (about 3 inches long) Sulcata and I would like to get another. The one I'm looking into getting is about 1 inch, would it be ok to put them together? If I should keep them a part for how long would I need to do that? Any help would be great.

Thanks, Hauntmom

Hi Hauntmom (may we know your name?):

Its always a good idea to quarantine new tortoises before putting them in with your existing tortoise. After a quarantine period, it may be ok to put them together. It goes on a case-by-case basis. Some tortoises get along no matter what the size difference, and others just plain don't.
