A fox spies the unattended tortoise and decides to make him his dinner.

As the predator leaps towards him, the Kinixys quickly retreats into his shell, and says, “Sorry, we’re closed.”

In a slight variation of this tale, a well-established TFO member then: (1) goes off on the inexperienced owner for allowing the tort to wander alone in the yard, (2) yells at Nsav for sending the post without including any photos of the fox, and (3) warns readers about the dangers of going to a vet lest they are eaten by a fox.

And oh yeah …. collectively, NSav is told that his humor is way too dry and to increase humidity to at least 80%.
