Ok...so our old man Humph is still getting better (at least he seems to be to me) his bump area still is there but alot better....the vet said that now the abscess is gone he said that either there had been an injury to that area/jawbone (although he is eating like...well a much happier tortoise) or there may be a tumor....so I have a feeling he will always sport a little bump there but at least the abscess is coming along well...the vet said of course they can zap him with an xray but I will want to let him heal for awhile and we will revisit those possible things....:D

(Ps...I know how smart and observant this crew is so I will just say...after he heals up and gets back out to his outdoor yard and soaks up some rays and his spirits are back to normal..we will start trimming his beak :p one trauma at a time).

Duuuuuuh! Forgot to attach the pic....LOL :D

While I don't like to attribute human emotions to reptiles, I do think he looks happier, and like I said he probably feels 100 percent better, nice job.
