I am geographically challenged, so please don't laugh at me when I ask you if San Luis Obispo is anywhere near Lompoc? The TooSlo chapter of the California Turtle and Tortoise Club is in S.L.O. And their adoption chairperson, Bob Thomas, lives in one of those towns near there that starts with an "A" Maybe Atascadero? He's got quite a place and quite a collection of turtles and tortoises. VERY good place to visit and "take the tour." He must have 50 or so different varieties of turtle and tortoise all kept in nice, large outdoor pens.
