I have been reading about how incubating at higher temps in an attempt to get females can produce irregular scutes, so I got to wondering if anyone has a male with irregular scutes or if they are all female?

I have found two little RF hatchlings near me with irregular scutes that needed a home, so I will be getting them next week when I have everything set up for them. Was thinking of getting one of Danny's boys but these little buggers found their way to me instead. My daughter wants to name them boy names, but I told her they are probably girls. :p
I guess we'll know more in a few years!

Yup very possible to have a male with irregular scutes. I have a male Libyan greek with an extra scute.
Temperature induced extra scutes happen in the first third of incubation. Sex determination happens in the second third of incubation. So extra scutes isn't a good indication of sex. :p
