Just bought this product for my Hermann but she is not interested in having it. It consists of small, thin chunks and smells like a mixture of herbs. Despite her indifference, I still want to feed this to her, any ideas on how I can trick her into eating this?

If it’s all dry, you will want to rehydrate the mixture and add into/onto your current feed.

Take a look at Tom’s recent posting about feeding Lettuce/Romaine. Slabber some of your mix on a head of Romaine.

I don't think it could hurt to try but from what I could find of the ingredients—which wasn't much—I'm not sure it's a high benefit food.

The materials say it contains grasses, which aren't part of her normal diet; the herbs you mentioned, which might smell strong enough to throw her off; mysterious "vegetables," whatever those may be; and cereals, which she probably doesn't need.

Again, can't hurt but I wouldn't knock myself out over it if she still refuses it. Try softening it up as described above and sneaking a little in. The grasses will at least provide some fiber if you can get her interested. And herbs are always good if they will eat them.

Good luck!
