Baby put back on some weight!!

For all who are following BB my new 31 day old leopard tortoise.

His first weight in's have been

Tuesday 21.9 grams
wednesday 21.7
Thursday 21.3

That's great! What are you doing different? Did you change his habitat in any way? Just asking for future reference and trying to learn all i can.

left him alone ALL day, just turned on his light and let him rest..

Then i waited till 4pm to soak him and feed him, the cactus pad worked..mind you i just got him this week, so its all still new to him.

Now the test will be next week.

Maybe you should get some video of Russian tortoises like Ernie and Nelson in action at their food dish and project it on BB's enclosure wall to inspire him toward a bigger appetite.
