Hi.
I'm looking for a large (18+ inch) male (preferably male) sulcata. A wee bit of pyramiding isn't totally terrible, but I'm to avoid it as much as possible :D
I have a big yard and 4 littler sullies already  I also have 5 Russians. Both species have their respective enclosures.
I'm trying to stay local. I'm in Los Angeles and am trying to stay within a 75 mile area. I really am not keen with shipping animals.. Its not real safe or humane (my opinion:p)
My budget is around $250..that's the hard part :( I know I sound nuts, but I'd much rather spend a few hundred on vet check ups and extra treats! Like new huts now and then...

I know I wrote an awful lot, but thanks if you read through all of it :D

Feel free to PM me or comment a reply if you have one or know someone who does..
*** I'm not sure if the Mods will let ya though..

Thanks!
Tiffany :D

Haha, yes we will. Only the for sale threads are off limits for chit chat:p. good luck, finding your sully. I can't imagine it being that hard, except the pyramiding part. That size, I would imagine you can't find many smooth ones or with little pyramiding.

International Reptile Rescue (find them on Facebook) is located in Oregon, and I know they have several large male Sulcata they are looking for homes for. They drive down to Sacramento ever so often, so I bet something could be arranged. Their adoption fees are reasonable. You might try contacting them?

It might cost two tanks of gas, but otherwise a trip to my house to adopt my male 43lb'er would be cheaper than your set aside budget.
