Hello

I just read the thread multi purpose compost and it made me think if my soil was ok.

Does anyone know in what store I could find organic compost? sometimes it says organic but when I check on the bag there is always a chimic or weird component in it. For Hermy's food I use bio organic soil that is 75% organic (that what is says on the bag). The girl at the store told me she was 100% sure that it was biologic. Is it ok?

Thanks

Isa

Organic soil is 100% organic. Anything less can not be labeled organic in US and I imagine the same in Canada. I think this where the term biologic or bio organic comes in. You can use marbles to grow planfs provided enough nutriants are added to the water (hydroponic gardening). For organic soil or compost or mulch find a nursery that specializes in organic gardening.

Thanks Larry

Hmm so it is probably not organic I guess. That is weird because it says bio organic on the bag. I will go to the store this weekend to see if they have another kind of bio organic soil.
