Birds and Tortoises

I have two Cockatiels. When we're finished with Dale's (our Cherryhead) enclosure (which we be a dog run) can we also put the cockatiels in with him or will they peck at him (as they are known to be ground feeders)? I don't know if anyone knows the answer to this, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Candy

Lots of people keep birds and tortoises together, but in my opinion, its not a good idea. The tortoise grazes and will eat, whether on purpose or accidentally, the dropping-laden grass. This is one way that our outdoor tortoises become infected with parasites.
