Took a walkabout in the yard this morning and took pictures of some of the common weeds (the neighbors must think me a loon). Some of these I think I know, but most I don't. Any help would be appreciated.

Here are additional pics of those three. I think you may be right about the lambsquarter.050.JPG 053.JPG

I've never heard about sassafras in minnesota, but I can see a resemblance.049.JPG

And here are a couple more of number 6. I'm googling horseweed as soon as this posts!059.JPG

YES! Number 6 indeed looks to me horseweed / marestail-Conyza canadensis! One more down...so many to go. Thank you @pfara !

I was wondering if 5C could be burdock, we have it at my folks lakehouse but I can't say I have ever noticed it here, and the plant is so young i'm just not sure. It's also in an area that is frequently mowed so it won't have the chance to get huge like the ones I am familiar with unless I dig it up and relocate.

Nos. 1 & 2 are Tradescantia or perhaps Commelina, dayflower or spiderwort, a common ornamental. Number 9 looks like sumac
but again after just coming in from dinner at a great riverside restaurant and two bottles of wine with my son, it is hard to come up with
so many ids much less keeping track of all the pictures.

Yeah, I kind of made a mess of it, didn't I? I didn't realize when I started that there were THAT many I couldn't identify.

Maybe the better question is; does anyone see anything that is toxic and an absolute no-no?

Let's be honest, I'm not going to remember half the names anyway. ;)
