Calcium without D3, is Rep-Cal superior?

I don't know about the oyster shell one. It is advertised as a fertilizer. Probably not a good idea.

As far as the Rep-Cal, that is what I use. They do sell it in little containers. I am not sure you will need 7 lbs of it, unless you have a gigantic tort. The container I bought was about $7 for about a cup sized container.

Thats part of the question I guess. Rep Cal is formulated from 100% natural oyster shell.....according to the label. I agree its the safer bet. Just looking for someone who might have specific experience.
