Calor gas heater?

Hi, I've just put a calor gas heater in the living room as its so cold at the moment. But I wondered if this would cause any harm to my tortoise? I've done an online search and can't see of any dangers this might cause but wondered of anyone else could shed some light, I just want to be sure. From what I've read as long as the room is ventilated there shouldn't be a problem but I know how sensitive tortoises can be!

I would think that the heater needed to be vented, not the room. My gut instinct is to say if it's ok for you and your family, it's ok for the tortoise...but it's just a guess, I don't know for sure.
