Can my Russian enjoy digging in soil?

I want to fill a plastic tub of soil and put it in my enclosure with a ramp so my Russian tort can enjoy digging. Is soil what I'm supposed to use? Do I use garden store compost or special stuff?

yes use of organic topsoil make sure there is no pesticides in it...

No pesticides or fertilizers. You can use it for their substrate if you want too.
