Hi I am thinking of changing my sulcata substrate as at the moment I am using coco fibre but am finding it very messy and sticks to his eyes and face. So my question is what is best and safes cypress mulch or moss? Any opinions would be very helpful

That could work, how do I prevent mold with them? As read a few post that say they can mold

Most likely they will mold, thats why i stopped using them when i first got my leopard. I have never had a problem with the coconut coir. I know a lot of members do and I just don't understand why. Is your coir patted down? I guess sullys are jut messier then leopards. You might be better off doing a humid hide, that way only that part will be damp, while the rest of the cypress will be dry. I don't think however its as good as a whole humid enclosure. Just my opinion.

I use organic cypress mulch and topsoil from home depot both bags together were less than 10.00. And my Spunky loves it he can dig around and have a good time in it.:)
