Desert Tortoise vs Sculata

I don't want to show my ignorance, but this definitely appears to be a DT and not an African:

This poster has several local postings with this tort as a Sculata. Perhaps someone with more experience, although I have experience with DT just not Sculatas, can help this individual in their identification.
