Ours is trying to take over our front porch/deck. We have a 40' fir tree dead in our lower pasture that I've planted some at the base of, to allow us to enjoy the flowers. It breaks easily, but regrows just as fast. I've never considered it a food plant for my tortoises because we've got so much other free stuff growing in these parts. Our cats really like it for the humming birds it brings in.
