Hi all,

My tortoise is about 5 years old and have noticed recently the side of her beak seems to be elongate. I’ve read about the tip needing trimming occasionally but wondering if this needs attention too?

Thanks in advance

No. With the right foods and housing, that should wear away on its own.

A another note, it looks like you've got sand in your substrate. This is potentially deadly and you should change it ASAP.

Thanks for replying - Ive got some cuttle fish on order so hopefully she'll chew on that!
(Theres definitely no sand in there, its 100% sterilised topsoil, must just be the lighting)
