I need fast help... I don't know really what kind of damage happens but I just know the owner of sulcata don't know if it will make it through the night. She is going to take it to vet in the morning. I don't have pictures but what can she do?

With out knowing anything, keep it warm, around 85. If you could get more details, someone could give more advice.

We would need more information as Barb says, but keep it warm and bring it inside, preferably on newspaper.

Darn it, I am so tired of reading about dog attacks.... When will people learn? I dont mean to kick anyone when they are down, but you have to use just a little common sense. Sorry, but had to get that off my chest.
Need more info, like Barb said, so maybe we could give some good advice here on this.
I hope it makes it though! :/

Did you ever find out how bad was the attack? I mean, is half the shell chewed off?

If the teeth didn't puncture any organs, it may Survive this. Make sure that the tort is placed on a clean towel or some newspaper. Keep him warm...about 95 degrees, and the wound can be cleaned with any antiseptic that you have in the house. If you have any triple antiseptic cream, use it. And see the vet tomorrow. He'll need antibiotics. Keep us posted. Thanks.

thank y'all for the help

When my fila got a hold of Horace when he was smaller I broufht him in and used peroxide and antibiotic cream on his wounds. Thank God they were only on the shell and only one puncture was fairly deep. Took him to the vet the next day an he was give an antibiotic shot and I was given some yellow cream and was told to rebandage him twice a day after a bath. he healed good, and only a few scars remain. It was very upsetting, now he is a lot bigger and Jewel knows better than to bother him, also she is supervised when they both are out at the same time. Good luck Lisa
