Hey everyone, I've had an eastern box for over 10 years. Great gal and recently with her new outdoor enclosure and her new and improved tortoise table I've decided I would like to try and breed her. I know pairs are bad and normally groups are a 3 female to one mail in many species is it the same for her? Or will I have to get one male let them mate and keep them apart after? I'm not new to tortoise care but I am new to this whole breeding thing. My little girl has been alone ever since I got her. I know I'll have to get a boy and keep them separate so I won't be able to breed this season but I still want to start getting things ready. Anyone have any information?

If the pen is big enough with lots of sight barriers and outside, it will probably be ok to keep them together. But be vigilant.
