Hello TFO,

I'm not sure if I'm being a worry wort or if theres something wrong with this egg. There's definitely a little fella in there wriggling about, but is the white bit above the egg an air bubble? I read on another forum that it's not a good sign so I'm getting a wee bit (very) anxious. Will it affect it's development? Also, how often is TOO often when it comes to candling an egg? I really can't get enough of it :/

Sorry in advance for all n00bish the questions, this is the first time my female had ever laid and they were found on the surface too.

Here's a couple of pictures for reference;

Thanks for looking :)

It's hard to tell from these pictures, but when an egg gets closer to hatching that oval will keep getting bigger and working its way down. A couple weeks after it reaches the bottom you will have a hatchling. You can clearly see the baby in the last picture, I would say everything is good so far.
