I found a dead female box turtle on the road and she had 4 egss. I had read about harvesting eggs to try and hatch them so I have the eggs and have them set up in a container with peralite and moss. Someone is picking them up tomorrow as she has a proper incubator.

I just read about that too. I think it was DBT's though not box turtles.
I'd name one Lucky if it hatched.

It is done all the time with alot of success......As long as they haven't been sitting out in the sun for hours, most DOR Eggs hatch and do just fine.......

That is nice to hear Eric. We found her in the early AM and seemed pretty "fresh". I hope they do hatch. :)
