Moved into a new house and not sure what's growing in the yard and whether I can feed it to Little Dude.

Check out the tortoise table. They have a lot of pictures of the more common weeds that you can find in your lawn. They also post wether the leaves roots or flowers are edible, and which ones need to be avoided.

The first one looks like some sort of thistle. Thistle is usually edible. The second one looks like maybe lily of the nile, but I'm ot sure. I think lilies are not edible. And the last one is dock, not edible.

@yvonne or any other plant people... Since the last ones I posted are mostly inedible... I found this purple flower growing in my yard and this tree has white flowers. Anybody know what they are and if they are edible? :)

I think the first one is the wild flower - scilla. It is not edible.

The tree is a type of magnolia, or tulip tree. It is supposed to cause discomfort in mammals. I have one just like this one in my YF pen and I've never seen them try to eat either the leaves of the flowers.
