Finding a heat bulb in the UK - advice needed ASAP

Would this heat lamp do the job?

My bulb keep going and every CHE I've bought recently stops within a week and the latest one didn't work at all.

Will likely get a new lamp fitting too, do I need a specific one other than for it to be E27 sized? Say if I got a 100w lamp, if I put an 80w bulb, would the bulb blow?

If any one in the UK can recommend a decent heat bulb I'd appreciate it. Bonus points for next day delivery

A light is better for basking. Unless you hang yours buy a light?
They bask from the sunlight in the wild.

I have a surge plug and timer for on/ off on the mains socket plug.

I recommend the basking light. Your tort needs light anyway and in a proper enclosure a uvb fluorescent tube light is not enough light. For Russians, a ceramic heat emitter is only needed if your area of the enclosure gets too cold during the day or at night. Tortoises bask in nature from the sun, the light of the sun attracts them to bask. They don't bask in the shade and this is a second reason to use a light bulb, heat and light.

Yeah I should add we only use CHE’s as our heat source because we have a red foot who don’t really bask, @wellington is right, I think Russians like a light to bask under😊
Either way though I’d still recommend the pro rep holders🙂
