Fittonia safe for box turtle?

Hello, I have a young Florida box turtle and I’ve been working on creating an outdoor enclosure for him. I was thinking of adding a few plants from an old terrarium to the outdoor enclosure, specifically a Fittonia and a Cryptanthus. While I’m fairly certain that the Cryptanthus is safe for him, I am unsure if the Fittonia is toxic for box turtles. Does anyone know if Fittonia is a safe plant for Florida box turtles? Thanks for any advice
