I have checked the tortoise table and do not find many of the Ohio plants/trees listed, like maple, redbud and plants like creeping charlie to mention a few. Is there another reference for plants/trees?

TTT is a British site. There isn’t an equivalent in the USA as far as I am aware or we would be referencing it.

Maple IS on TTT and may only be fed sparingly due to the high sugar content

Sometimes you need to know the Latin name to look a plant up (use Google to find the Latin name) because that never changes even though the same plant is known by different common names in different countries.

Creeping Charlie, Latin = Glechoma, is also on TTT. Do not feed.

And sometimes you will simply have to ask for the opinion of others in your country using our plant ID forum.

Redbud isn’t on TTT, you need to ask.
