After my RF finished his soak, I smelled a horrible poop stench coming from his body. I checked him out and didn't see anything unusual. I thought perhaps there was poop wedged in somewhere between scutes from laying on top of it, but I couldn't find any. Even after lightly brushing his shell with an old tooth brush, he still stunk.
Then, after about 10 minutes, I saw an enormous turd lodged in the pocket between his head and shoulder area, under the curvature of his shell. I couldn't see it at first because it blended in with his skin. It had secretly floated in while he was taking his soak and, as long as Milo was looking straight ahead, it was wedged in there nicely.
Has that happened to anyone else? Gross!
