While following another thread about Aldabras, the post turned to Galapagos vs Aldabra - intelligence and personality. Also comment was made on "goopy eyes". I've personally worked with 100s of Galapagos and have not seen this. I do also agree the Galapagos are by far the most intelligent and friendly tortoise I have ever worked with.

So I thought I would post a few pictures to show a bit about some of the ones I work with...

One of my 2023 babies. I threw in some treats after they had eaten a large pile of weeds. Maybe too tired to eat now, but seems to want to keep it safe for later!

Ugh, you're making me want a Galapagos. All I need to do is win the lottery. Or have some secret, mysterious great aunt leave me her 100 acre property as inheritance.
