gender and age determination

male tortoise plastron is curved and females plastron is flat is it true and if then till what age it starts curving.

how to identify the age of the star.

Males have a longer tail and dont grow as big as females. Also male scutes are not as pointed as females. Growth depends on how they have been kept and fed.

I don't know about stars, but sulcatas reach sexual maturity before the plastron starts to curve inward.

but still can we judge there age according to there size.

well i am having a star, it is nearly 4" its tail is bit longer but still its plastron is flat. how to determine its age and gender.

Posting pictures helps. It is easier to show/tell you what gender than to guess from a description.
