don't you need an invite from someone who is already there? I don't know anyone cool enough in google +

I'm usually big on the latest technologies, but I've had so many opportunities to join Google+ and I've avoided it like the plague. Are the 'new' Facebook changes (I've had them at least a month already) that seem to be pushing people away not a copy of what Google are already doing?

Yea if anyone wants to join i can send an invite.
I've been asking to join for a while but never got an invite. Finally got an invite so i was on it like a rocket! I've wanted on since day one.

I hate the new facebook with a passion and once i've got google+ filled with my most important people i will probably strip it all and leave bare minimum things on there as I just can't be doing with it anymore.

I go to google.com and there's a big arrow pointing to the top left where you can click to sign up.

I never could understand why Facebook. I get much more out of talking to you folks here on the forum and through emails than I got out of Facebook. I'm not sure I'll stick to plus either. I'm a real newbie on it and haven't figured out how it works yet.
