Tell your Aunt it needs a water turtle set up and to read the links. Also she needs to check the laws before keeping it. These are illegal to take from the wild in some states and in others they require a permit.

If she has not done so and it is in fact a mud turtle, she needs to get it into treated water pronto. They can not live out of water and will eventially die. I'm not sure they need to be submerged to eat like some water turtles, but I have never seen one eat above the water.

Thanknu guys so much and ok i didnt kmow what kind but it looked like an aquatic turtle so i told her to put it in some water and she said he started moving around and thanks very much again this helped her alot
