I read that I need to be bathing my tortoise everyday for the first year when they are young, however my tortoise hates it. He instantly starts trying to climb out and is visibly stressed in the bath. I've checked the temperature, let him come to me when hes active to take him etc., but nothing seems to help him feel less stressed. Any ideas to help him feel more comfortable/less stressed during bathing time? (He has a sunken bowl but rarely even goes near it)

Just keep doing it. Not only does he need it for hydration and shell growth but the trying to get out is good exercise. Eventually he will likely get to like it or tolerate it. Be sure it's a flat bottom container. The water isn't too hot or cold and that the water comes up just above where the top and bottom shell meet.
