Hello everyone.
My name is Kristaps Fisher and our newest family member - Athena. I got her from local pet shop around 2 month ago and at the time didnt realize where im getting into. In shop she lived in a dry sand with mostly carrots in her dish. So i took the advice and bought a bag of desert sand. I spent the next month educating myself about tortoise keeping and as many others may journey ended here. So shes living in proper conditions for about a month now.
Unfortunately i didnt take any pics when i bought her. She was pyramiding when i bought her and was dry as a rozine. Scales seemed to grow one under the other, now theyre seem to be evening out.
