Welcome! Can you build Daisy a nice, safe outdoor yard? She'll be much better off outside in Florida's sunshine.

Hello, Harry, and a very warm welcome to Tortoise Forum to you and pretty little Daisy.
She is a bit pyramided, as you probably are aware, so to prevent it getting worse ensure your humidity is kept high
In case you've missed them, here are some good threads to read.

Hello and Welcome. I would put Daisy outside every day all day as long as it's warm weather in bring her in at night. You could also build her a night box outside to let lock her up in at night. She is big enough to spend the day outside and will be much better for her.

Hello, sorry it took me too long to reply. The pic is from the day I got her. I bought her like that. I take her outside for at least one hour a day for now until I'm able to build her a living space. She's usually walking in the house. Right now she has a 40gal tank and has an uvb and daylight, but at night I turn them off don't know if I should.
I have been doing more searching and found out new things that the pet shop didn't told me. So now she has a water bow and I'm soaking her in water every two to three day. For food the pet shop which I guess don't know much told me just to give her romaine lettuce but found out not true. I just order some sulcata seed mix and going to grow some grass but not sure what else I could buy from the grocery store to give her for now or from a pet shop. All the help is good
Thank you

Hello sorry for the delay, I'm getting in the process of building something for her then I'll have her outside during the day. Right now she only goes about an hour a day when someone is able to keep an eye on her.

Outside is always good, supervised until your enclosure is ready and secure. :)
Her enclosure is a safer place than walking about the house. Temperatures and humidity are difficult to control on the floor and will often be too low, draughts can be dangerous and so can eating objects, even dust bunnies can cause impaction. On the forum a while back a tort got its head crushed in a door and another swallowed a pin.
You are right to turn off the lights at night, tortoises can't sleep properly except in darkness. If it gets cold at night you need a CHE (ceramic heat emitter)
connected to a thermostat to achieve the correct temperature. This produces heat, but no light.
For a water bowl I uses a cheap shallow terracotta saucer sunk into the substrate that's easy for the tort to climb in and out of and big enough to soak in.
For food http://www.tortoiseforum.org/threads/sulcata-diet-sheet.52677/ is good.
