This is Scooter, a Hermanns Tortoise. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong that his shell is pitting. Now that it’s warmer here, I’m taking him outside to increase UVB in hopes that the shell will somewhat heal. I feed him kale, broccoli, cauliflower, apples, etc. I have him in a black Rubbermaid farm tote (4ft long by 3ft wide) with screen and using a 150watt uvb light in the center. What can I do to help him and his shell? If anyone can give me an idea of age, I’d appreciate that as well
