That picture of Gali next to the rolled up hose reminded me of Dudley and my hose incident. He got himself between the hose and the fence and here's the result:

That hose bib used to be facing towards 3 o'clock and now its down at 5:30. I told my plumber son-in-law, "I don't care if the new deal is copper pipes! I want galvanized because of my tortoises!"

And Dudley says, "Who, ME??"

tortimer doesn't like hibiscus. I have three of them growing and he won't eat it.

try adding pieces of flowers in w/ his salad, its all a matter of getting used to it. gali on the other hand took right to it and i have to hunt flowers down for him. he loved petunias until he met hibiscus, now its anything red. i bought a red ball for him some months back and threw it out in the yard, he ignored it forever.......until this morning, i saw him bat it out of his way 3 times, just like a soccer player, maybe when he gets bigger hell challenge it more and more. smiles

his "salad" is the lawn. he'll eat all sorts of flowers, hibiscus isn't one of them.
