How do I change Smiley's food interests?

Hello all,

I am wondering what I need to do in order to get Smiley (5 yr. old Female Greek) to eat different foods. I fear that the pet store had improperly fed her. They told me they fed her Romaine lettuce and Rep-Cal tortoise food (very fruity in nature.)

I currently feed her Organic Spring mix. She will only eat the green leaves, as she will NOT eat red-colored leaves of any kind. Also, I have tried to introduce her to some grassland tortoise food by Zoo-med and some moist timothy hay. She will have nothing to do with it.

Any suggestions?

Did you try grating some kind of veggie over her greens? When I first got Nigel and he was being picky, I grated (one) baby carrot (it made quite a bit) over his springmix and the little shavings stuck to everything they touched, so Nigel couldn't pick around if he wanted the carrots.

Plus, the bright color distracts them, and she might just focus in on that, and forget the other stuff.
