Is Mazuri food(nuggets)good for my meps? They like it so much. They make a forest type food but its a pellet that is hard to soften and they don't like it at all! They like the grassland tort food somewhat but not like they go after the mazuri.

i also feed my torto with that, but not everyday...maybe about 2 or 3 times a week...on the other days, i feed it with papaya, banana, bokchoy vegetables, carrots, cucumber, hibiscus and mustard greens...

My Mep don't like the Mazuri, but my Aldabran tortoises love it. I feed it once a week. As long as you still feed your tortoise fruits and veggies, I think it's ok to include Mazuri with every meal.

The Mazuri label says that it should make up 80% of EVERY meal. (With 20% other foods.)
A clever marketing suggestion to be sure!
IMO if it makes up any more than 10% at any feeding, my tortoises will only eat the Mazuri and nose around everything else.
