Hello, I'm new here and I have a 6 month old redfoot tortoise. She's beautiful and very sweet. I keep her indoors and I have some questions about how best to care for her. Thanks.

This baby needs a closed chamber, high humidity (80%) with a steady 80F, but doesn’t need the intense heat of a basking spot.

A Ceramic Heat Emitter used with a thermostat is good for keeping it warm day and night.

UVB is best from a 5.0 tube. Don’t use a compact UVB bulb as they hurt tortoise eyes
