Hello and Welcome !!!
Your enclosure looks kinda dry, baby sulcatas need lots of humidity :D

Here are my favorite threads about sulcatas and how to raise them this is about the best enclosures for sulcata tortoises

http://www.tortoiseforum.org/Thread-Closed-Chambers#axzz1hkZxITMK

These are care sheets , one is for leopard tortoises but it works really well for sulcatas . Tom's how to raise hathcling sulcatas is the most important though

This one is about hatchling failure syndrome and how to prevent it http://www.tortoiseforum.org/Thread-Hatchling-Failure-Syndrome#axzz1i4Ds8pC6

These threads are about pyramiding

I of course don't want to discourage you at all from getting a sulcata but you should know what you are getting into before you get one. They get LARGE fast... VERY FAST. and they are expensive. I have never spent so much money on any animal as I have my tortoise to give them everything they need. Creating enclosure for a 15 pound four year old Sulcata tortoise is expensive and hard work This is how big a sulcata will be in just four years :D

Welcome to TFO! I love the paint roller tray as a bath! Great idea and so much easier for him to climb in and out of... think I might be stealing that idea!

Well after a lifetime of dreaming, countless hours of research, and lots of work ( not to mention money lol) I believe I am ready to welcome a little sulcata to my family. The table is built the temps are stable (75 in the coolest part up to 108 in the basking spot and ranging between those everywhere else. He should be arriving hopefully either thurs or fri all the way from California. He is 4-5inches and about 5 months old. I'm calling him a he until he is older and I know for sure. Right now he will be on the tort table and once he grows a bit more in an open enclose on the floor where e can come and go as he pleases until it warms up then he will be outside for tr summer. He is going to be a very spoiled guy lol. I have picked up some cuttle bones cactus treats Bermuda grass ad ox bows orchard grass hay. And I always have Anton of greens left over from my other herp kids (iguana beardie and box turtle...all rescues) that he can be supplemented with. Doesn't sound like I've got everything he needs? Here's some pics of the table before and after I did some decorating.

And here's is a pic from the breeder.

My fiancé and I couldn't decide which we liked best just from the pics. I wanted lefty and he wanted righty lol. So I just told the breeder to pick which one he thought would beg fit in with us and we would love either one equally lol. If anyone has any questions or advice for me I would love to hear. Thank you

How awesome!!! To prep so well and be ready in time! How exciting :)!! What a cutie pie! Keep sharing pictures. I also love the paint tray idea- but my little man only seemed to go into glass dishes-- so he has a pie dish (small) with rocks all over the outside for steps etc.

Please share more pictures when you bring the little one home.

Thank you, i was at home depot looking at the terra cotta pot plate thingys and they just seemed too shallow...but now that hes here the paint roller tray looks too deep haha so its of to HD agin to get a pot thingy (what exactly are those called anyway lo,l a pot plate? haha) but when he grows a bit im switching back to the tray...i think it would be better because he can pick how deep or shallow he would want to be.

Also i did make a new post in the general section...i think its called hes finally here or something like that...its some new pics and also some concerns i have about him.
