Nodder was so happy to have an inside day and relief from 105 degrees!
Not even his underground hide and misting satisfied this spoiled little tort!
He sure was happy inside though...

Still has his cool little heart shape on his head...

All of my older ones are staying underground today and my younger ones are dug into grass clumps under the shade umbrella. Gonna be hot for a while now...

He loved it in the shade on wet grass until about 100 degrees-then he looked at me with the 'get me out of here' look! He doesn't realize he's an African tort-underground or not!
VERY hot for a while!
