I Have two females currently 2 months old. I'm getting a male today who's younger. Can I just put him in with the girls, or will there be any issues? Thanks.

You should quarantine him first to make sure he can't spread anything

How can you tell if it's a female if it's only two months old? Unless it was incubated for female.
Just what I do....not written in stone. No matter where I get a new box turle from, I quarantine him for 3 months, and get him checked by my Vet. Some people do it longer. If I get a hatchling from someone and I have other hatchlings, I will put him in with the others, but not an older one. Years ago I had a friend who got a WC box turtle from someone who got him from a pet store and she put him in with her herd, Two weeks later he came down with a RI and eventually all 5 of her females got the same thing. It cost her a fortune to get them well. She only lost one, but that was enough. You have to be very careful if any has parasites too.

It was incubated to be a male. He's already in with the others & doing great so far.

Thank you!
