My adult RES has a turtle topper on his tank. He really enjoys what my daughter calls "tanning" under his lights. The topper also has a little platform under the water for the turtles to sleep on. Hermes has always slept on this platform before. Lately if I get up in the middle of the night, I see him sleeping on the bottom of the tank. This is a 55 gallon tank in case your wondering. My question is, is he sleeping on the bottom because its his preference or is he trying to tell me there is something wrong with his tank conditions. His tank is kept in the mid 70's range for temp.
