Is this shell rot?

I was told this is an injury from sitting in moisture perhaps sitting on her urine. Cirby is 8. I have been trying to heal this since the end of May. I am cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide after a soak, then Silvadine on it two or three timed a week. In June she had a 2 week course on antibiotic injections. What do you think?

I looked at your other thread on this too. Honestly, tortoises urinate where they sit all the time, and I've never seen this, not to say it couldn't be caused by it. Maybe.

My concern would be the use of hydrogen peroxide. That has an extreme drying effect, could even be aggravating it. If this was ie, I would discontinue the HP, and the silvadine, and switch to EVCO - has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral properties and is non- drying. . You've been treating this for some time with not much improvement, maybe time for a new course of treatment. Just my opinion, I've not a vet or expert.

You can get it in a health food store. Some bigger grocery stores have it too. Or you can order it on Amazon.
