I have had my tortoises and boxie inside all winter. Only taking them outside on the brief over 70 days and bringing them back inside. I have changed their substrate too many times to count..just make me thankful to the spring and summer months where they are all outside and all I have to do is rake, water and feed.
So, for you indoor enclosure folks, my hat is off to you. I have worked harder these past 4 months then I have the whole past year I have had my torts. Really makes me appreciate the few that I have and the Texas sunshine....
