My baby leopard tortoise has a very lopsided shell. Will it even out over time? If so, how long?
He's about two inches long.

It should even out with time,,,but that early pyramiding going on wont help. Perhaps it started pyramiding before you got it but I would do daily soaks /sprays/ & high humidity enclosure to help correct it sooner than later.
On occasion you will see a turtle/tortoise retain some of its "lopsided" baby shape.

Hi Dan:

When tortoise babies are inside the egg, they are soft and pliable. They sometimes get too big for the egg and they get a lop-sided or folded look to their carapace. This usually straightens out over time.

Please take diamondbp's advice and give your baby a more humid environment. It definitely will help curtail the pyramiding that has started and will also help with the lop-sidedness by keeping the shell a bit more supple.

For more info on the humid theory, read the "Important Threads" at the top of the Leopard section.
