I have 2 small Greeks in a cement mixing tub (2'x3'x8"). I'm looking for a plant that I can put in the middle of the enclosure to give shade and a place to hide. I don't care if it is edible or not - in fact, if the torts didn't eat it, it would be easier to maintain. I'm thinking a Spider plant may be my best bet, but I was wondering if there were any other ideas. Some info:

I'm using Jungle Mix for the substrate.
I don't mind putting a pot in the substrate, but it would have to be somewhat shallow.
