What type does everyone use for the torts? I have 6f here in town.

Huh? I was unaware of Mazuri made different types of tortoise diet...?

I believe it's all the same and it just gets packaged differently depending on the quantity being sold..

Mazuri Tortoise chow comes as two different stock numbers:

Catalog #0065161-5E06, 1# resealable poly bag

Catalog #0001474-5M21, 25# paper sack

I don't see a "6f" listed anywhere on their site. What does the label or bag read?

pretty sure Mazuri 6F is a 50 pound bag of rat/rodent breeder feed. Which is feed to rats and mice that you feed to other species. Hope your not feeding that to your tort! You need Mazuri tort diet which is sold in 1 pound bags or 25 pound bags or you can get if from a few of your members in different quanitys that they break in down into.

Crystal (or Jimmy) is correct. Mazuri 6F is food for rodents that are intended to be fed to other animals.

There is only one Mazuri for tortoises, and its called Mazuri Tortoise Diet.

I didn't think about the fact that Mazuri makes food for other animals... Make sure you only get the one that says Mazuri Tortoise Diet....

Ok thank you. I only feed it to my breeder rats. I did not realize they made seperate diets.
