Joined Jan 16, 2012 Messages 2,161 Location (City and/or State) Swamps, bogs, and vernal pools Many keepers are very successful keeping their Graptemys in alkaline water which they achieve by using a crushed coral/river rock mixture. I'd say you have a good start, so far, for keeping your turtle.
